Seal's Corner: More Adventures of Desk Moose

Orc!
So, Allie is going through the pictures on her computer to find the ones we haven't shared with you yet. She called it a study break; I called it procrastination. Anyway, here are some pictures of my field correspondent Desk Moose that I don't think you have seen yet. Enjoy!

Seal's Corner: The Adventures of Desk Moose - In London

Orc!

It is me again, Seal. Last weekend Allie went to London to celebrate her birthday. I was unsure how squishy the pillows would be in her hotel room, so I stayed back in Norwich, but I sent my trusty field correspondent Desk Moose to take some exciting pictures to share with you all.
The trip included a stop at Hummingbird Bakery, one of the best known places in London to get American style cupcakes. Mmmm, they were even nice enough to bring me home some leftovers. Cupcakes here tend to be teacakes with icing instead of tasty mini cakes with lots of frosting, so I was excited to dig in.
Desk Moose also went for a ride on the London Underground, or the Tube. This underground train station is the fastest way to get around London. This first underground rail lines in the city date back to 1863.
Just make sure you have a ticket! An Underground ticket agent stopped by right after Moose took this picture and asked to see his ticket! :)

There will be more exciting adventures to come in my next two posts! Stay tuned for:

Seal's Corner: Meet Percy Pig

Orc! (Hi Everybody! )

I want to introduce you to Percy Pig. A tasty gummy bear like sweet. Percy is very popular here and has lots of friends like Penny Pig (she is lemon flavored), Veggie Percy, and Piglet Party (a Christmas-y option).

That is all for now. I am going to go back to hoping it stops raining here sometime soon ....

Seal's Corner: Welcome

*Editor's Note: Seal once heard a story about a bear who had his own corner, and decided back then that one day she would have Seal's Corner. I told her she could write on this blog as long as she focused on topics that would entertain some of our younger readers. I hope she listens, that Seal has a mind of her own ...

Orc! Orc, Orcc! (Hello, everyone)

This is me Seal. In case we haven't met.
I'm Seal. And I am one of Allie's best friends. We were living very comfortably in Fitchburg, WI. It was perfect, in fact this summer there was almost no rain! (I hate water, in case you didn't know) When all of a sudden Allie decided to move us to Norwich, UK, where coincidentally it rains all the time! Also, it can go from sunny and dry to pouring rain here in under 90 seconds. I timed it on Wednesday.
See what I mean: Water, water everywhere!

In case you are wondering where Norwich is you can check out the map on the right. What Allie forgot to mention is that the UK is pretty much one big island, and Norwich is right on the coast. We are about 2 hours London by train; which is like going going back and forth to Madison from Allie's Mom and Dad's house 2 times.

Allie told me there was a Seal colony nearby us one the coast. I think I am going to start my own seal colony in the comfort of my own bed ( I mean Allie's bed ...) After all does the coastal seal colony have pillows and fluffy green blankets?

More later! Wish me luck that I don't get washed away!
